When Santiago Dañino Beck (right) and Andrew Dominitz (left) first met in Boston, Santiago was finishing his studies, while Andrew was working in tech. More importantly though, they were two musicians at heart looking for any opportunity to get in front of a piano and create music. Santiago was born in Lima, Perú, and was raised on Latin music before moving to Washington, D.C., and falling in love with pop and American R&B. Andrew’s parents were both musicians - his father an Israeli-born violinist, his mother an opera singer - who raised him on classical music and jazz, before he took a turn toward old school hip-hop. With Andrew driving production, and Santiago leading songwriting and vocals, they landed on their own brand of R&B-infused Latin pop, building on the diverse spectrum of music that they love.

SANTI’s debut album was produced in collaboration with Fernando Garibay and Paradise Studios, the songwriting & production team behind Lady Gaga album Born This Way, as well as tracks by Shakira, Sia, Enrique Iglesias, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, U2, etc. Since publishing their first single in March 2019, SANTI has reached over 4 million streams on Spotify, and counting, with many of the duo’s singles having been featured on Spotify’s top editorial and algorithmic playlists: Discover Weekly (Quédate, Menea, Caballero, Otra Más, etc.); New Music Friday Latin (Quédate, Menea, Antisocial, Nada); Nuevo Flow (Quédate, Menea); Vibras (Caballero, Menea); Novedades Viernes Perú (Menea, Problema, Antisocial, Dame Tiempo); Made in Perú (Menea); New from NYC: Latin (Problema). In parallel, the duo has been featured repeatedly on Tidal editorial playlists Rising: Latin, Los Alternativos, Sentimental, and more. They are both voting members of the Academy for the Latin Grammys, and were a "Featured New Artist" on Los40, a leading radio show in Latin America hosted by Prisa Radio, the largest Spanish-speaking radio group worldwide.
